About
Kris Tharp
Kris fights for the vulnerable, protecting child victims and the elderly from exploitation. Kris was appointed to represent law enforcement in the State Senate, serving on the Elder Abuse Task Force. Kris is also the Founder and President of Madison County TRIAD, a partnership between law enforcement and service providers who work together with members of the community to provide education, resources and support to the elderly. Through TRIAD, Kris implemented a County-wide program to protect people with disabilities by placing stickers on homes and cars to notify law enforcement of possible communication barriers.
